NOTE:

(1) This suggested pay scale in based upon approximately .10¢ per word author payment.
(2) Author may select any of the following options:

a. Cash payment based upon the above schedule.
b. M.I. Merchandise based upon member cost. Author to pay difference
for cost exceeding his/her income received for article.
c. M.I. Merchandise points to be redeemed based upon member cost. Author may accumulate points on an annual basis.
d. Author may substitute the $30.00 value of a M.I. membership for merchandise and/or Merchandise points.
e. Author may refuse any payment or donate his income to M.I. and receive a tax deduction.

(3) Once a contributing author has had six (6) or more published articles they shall become eligible to be promoted to Field Editor. All Field editors shall be given an “Official” M.I. jacket embroidered with their name plus MUSKIE Magazine, Field Editor (3 lines). This offer shall inure to the Guide Panel members who have contributed twelve (12) Guide Column answers that have been published in MUSKIE Magazine.
