Hello Muskie Hunters!
The end of this crazy winter is in sight. The last few weeks have felt like a big
tease, sunny and warm, a snow storm, sunny again, etc.
This coming weekend is our biggest fundraiser, and quite possibly the most fun
event of the year, The Indoor Fishing Flea Market co-sponsored with the Rolling
Meadow High School Choral Boosters. Tickets are $5.00. The March 10th, Flea
Market opens at 8:00am. There is always a long line to get in, so don’t arrive to
late or all the bargains will be long gone. Rolling Meadows High School is
located at 2910 West Central Road. This is an excellent place to buy, sell, or
barter for new and used fishing & boating equipment. In the past we have had
vendors with new inventory, inventory overruns, and inventory closeouts. We
also have vendors, who sell antique and collectible lures. Just about everything
related to fishing & boating is sold: rods, reels, line, lures, tackle boxes, nets,
motors, etc., etc.
There will be constant drawings for raffle prizes, and two seminars: at 10:00am
Cary Gelfond will be addressing Shore Fishing in Illinois, and Don Dziedzina
(more on Don later), will be presenting Illinois Fishing.
